SLT care was established by Senior Speech and Language Therapist Anne Franklin in 2008.
Anne had worked in the NHS for over 16 years, Including wide experience of working with mainstream schools and families in the community as a senior therapist and coordinator.
Anne then entered independent practice and worked with individual clients as well as with several organisations including the National Autistic Society school in South Yorkshire, a case worker company, a specialist college for young adults with learning disabilities, and cerebra clients.
In 2008 Anne set up SLT care. Now with an enthusiastic team of qualified Speech and Language Therapists, SLT care delivers speech language therapy services to individual clients, several nursery, primary and secondary schools, and a range of other settings including specialist college and independent schools.
Anne is professionally registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), The Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP) and the Health Professionals Council (HPC).

For its members, ASLTIP provides support and information on working as independent Speech and Language Therapists within the United Kingdom.
SLT Care is based near Wakefield West Yorkshire, close to M1 and M62 Motorways and provide services to Wakefield, Featherstone, Pontefract, West and South Yorkshire and some part of North Yorkshire.
